🛡️

Verify by phone — the right way

Call escrow and read the wire instructions back to them. The phone number must come from the escrow company's website or a previously verified source — never from the email containing the instructions.

Phone Verification

Yes — verified by phone ▾
From the escrow company website directly ▾
🚨

NEVER call a number from the email

Selecting "From the email containing wire instructions" is flagged NOT SAFE. Scammers spoof the email and the phone number — the only safe sources are the company's official website or a number you've previously verified.

04

Match the instructions — flag any change

Two checkpoints. The phone-verified instructions must match the written ones exactly. And the instructions must not have changed since your last communication.

No — instructions are the same ▾
🛑

If either answer flips — STOP

A discrepancy or a "changed since last time" answer triggers DO NOT WIRE / STOP AND CALL ESCROW. Hang up, call escrow on a known-good number, and start over.

05

Sign & save the verification
